401(k) Plan
Contractors can save for retirement through our 401(k) plan after 1,000 hours of work in a 12-month period. Employees can contribute 1% to 100% of their salary pre-tax, up to $16,500 (2009). Wired Talent may offer a discretionary match of contributions at the end of each calendar year with full vesting after two years.
Short-Term Disability / Paid Family Leave
Employees working contract video game jobs in California, New York and New Jersey automatically participate in a short-term disability program that provides income if they can’t work due to a non-work related injury or illness. Contractors in California also participate in Paid Family Leave, which provides employees financial assistance if they need to care for an ill family member and can’t work.
